In this video, we show how RedLetter, manufactured our AM.CO.ZA Sunnyrock HQ 3D Signage, using an AM.CO.ZA EasyRoute 380V 2050×3050mm CNC Router. RedLetter Media is a signage and branding company that has worked with various companies to create 3D Channel letter Signage and other branding solutions, and AM.CO.ZA is one of many companies that has used RedLetter’s services. RedLetter supplies and installs various types of signage, but their speciality is their 3D Channel Letter signage. These signs are made up of the company’s logo and are usually placed on the exterior of the company’s building.
The process starts with the client’s brief and the scope of work. The brief is converted into a 3D CAD model using the renders to give multiple views and an accurate representation of what the manufactured sign will look like.
Once the client has approved the renders, the manufacturing process can begin. Here, RedLetter uses an R-2030K/55L: EasyRoute 380V 2050×3050mm CNC Router, and the 3D CAD files, to manufacture the 3D channel letters. Once the letters have been cut out with the CNC Router, each letter is fabricated by hand to turn the flat letter into a 3D letter.

Next, the letters are sent to the wiring and LED department, here the letters are wired up with LED lights to ensure that the letters are lit up evenly and visible at night.
On-site, a template is created so that the 3D Channel letters are mounted correctly on the wall. The rigging team, then mount the letters. For AM.CO.ZA, the sign was installed high up on the Sunnrock HQ, to ensure that it is visible from the road. And thanks to the LED lighting, the sign is easy to spot at night!
