// Heatware 1800W 400×600mm Swing-Away Heavy Duty Flat Press Heat Press Machine, Great for T-Shirt Printing
// Video Scripts
For large scale T-Shirt Heat Pressing, you need this industrial heat press machine from Advanced Machinery.
This newcomer of the Heatware Heat Press range focuses on one application – to press heat transfer vinyl or sublimation prints on your material via heat.
Let’s start from the base. This bottom surface is made of a permanent mould casted magnesium alloy produced by a die casting process. It provides a high impact resistance and high strength, which can also withstand high temperatures. Magnesium alloy is made up of a combination of metals such as silicon, manganese, aluminium, zinc and other elements that are used in most engine blocks, which we found to be the best option for the heat press base surface. There are cheaper alternatives out there like casting aluminium that cracks easily.
Some even use steel for the bottom surface, but this becomes deformed over time. So beware of purchasing industrial heat presses that use these kinds of materials for the bottom surface, they won’t last long.
Below the bottom surface is the steel base made of solid thick plate, mainly to increase strength and weight. That’s why even if we swing the top part to the back, the whole machine remains stable.
At the four corners of the base, we designed a mounting hole. This is for the benefit of factories that need to adhere to basic safety requirements. The mounting hole makes sure that the machine is securely fixed in its position on the desired working surface.
This big screw bar allows you to adjust the bottom surface position to adapt to the different thickness of fabrics, or, if you like, to increase or decrease press pressure, or place different support materials for heat press.
And this knob locks the adjustable screw in place.
This heat press features 600mm width and 400mm depth surface, suitable for all T-Shirts and other materials like pants, jeans etc. Heat shield foam and rubber silicon are included and can be replaced.
These heat press components commonly shield the heat and make the heat more concentrated on the cloth, as well as causing even fabric heat absorption, especially in the case of small pieces of sublimation prints and heat transfer vinyl.
Now let’s take a look at the main body of the machine. This handle is to swing the top surface to the right. The machine is designed to swing to the right only and is extremely solid and stable during the swing all the way to the back, due to its heavy weight factor.
This rubberized handle is easy to grab and big enough for any sized hands. The press and locking device is on a bearing for a smooth press down and the lift up, even on fast and hard operation.
And the entire structure is suspended on two springs that remove all vibrations when the heating plate is pressed down onto the t-shirt.
The heating plate is also made by casted magnesium alloy with heating elements cast in and wrapped in high-temperature resistant Non-Stick PTFE, also called Teflon, a coated fibreglass fabric cloth. And on the inside, the heating plate has multiple heat sensors for the overall temperature control as well as individual temperature control.
This is to ensure even heating and the same temperature over the entire plate. This is very important for a bigger sized heat press because during the press process some positions will drop in temperature more than others. And therefore the overall heating process is not going to work. Thus, more heat is going to be needed in individual zones.
The temperature can be set in Celsius or Fahrenheit. This is useful for some sublimation inks, blanks or paper marks its required temperature by Fahrenheit, and you can change the setting accordingly without having to do the conversion all the time. The temperature of this 1800W heat press can go up to 400 degree Celsius and normal heat press only require about 220 to 240 degrees Celsius, avoid going over 270 degrees for safety as this may cause a fire.
Besides the temperature setting, it will also show the current lowest temperate on the board and you will see that it keeps rising until it reaches the setup temperature within a two-degree accuracy. With the 1800W heating element, the heat up process is fast.
Below the temperature setting, is the timer, and you can set it up from 1 to 999 seconds for the press, and it will start to count automatically once you press the handle down, and will beep when the timer reaches zero.
