Calendars provide an easy way to see the days of the month coming up. Many businesses print monthly calendars with their branding to provide to clients, friends, family or use around the offices. This is a great form of advertising as the calendar will be looked at on a daily basis.
In today’s video, we will be showing you how to create a monthly calendar using a 230gsm Matt sheet on a Large Format UV Printer! Watch the video below for a step by step tutorial:
The first step is to start with the design. The client sent us two designs, one for the husband and one for the wife. We will let you guess which is for which!
Now we are ready to print. We printed the calendar using a Large Format UV Printer, as we would like a matt print with high quality.
We are using matt poster paper, which should be easy to tear. We have chosen a UV printer as we want the ink to pop in and be vibrant in colour.
Once printing is done, we need to cut away the excess areas around each month, using a sharp knife on a table.
Once all the months are cut out, we can use a stapler to create to secure the prints together. You can also use a punch to create a hole if you are going to hang the calendar.
