Let’s Make Large Format Printing Affordable

This is not an email about current stock of our FastCOLOUR Large Format Printers. They are available and still the same price. This is a survey for a new product.

So what about the R45000 Large Format Printer?

We understand a lot of our clients want to get into large format printing business but cannot afford the price tag for the standard. So, we were thinking, how about we slash the price to half, let us see what we can build:

The difference in Structure:

The FastCOLOUR Lite is not rigged as standard as FastCOLOUR, it’s designed to last 3 years on normal printing jobs, instead of the 5 to 10 years lifespan you can get from the Standard version.

A very similar feature like heating, and compatible with standard version accessories.

The difference in Printhead:

Instead of industrial level EPSON DX5/DX7 printhead, we are going to use business level EPSON XP600 Disposable Printhead — Designed for 3000 SQM Printing Life, and able to take Solvent Ink and Water based Ink with maximum 4 Pass result 600×600 DPI.

Replacing it is affordable, we will sell EPSON-XP600 at R1999+VAT.
(we may increase to R2299~R2699 depends on the detailed model we choose)

What FastCOLOUR Lite is Suitable for:

Printing on non-gloss, grained media like PVC Banner Media and Canvas are a good choice. Also good for application that view in a few meters or further range, which 4-pass is good enough.

Well, that’s why we have this survey — we would like to know how many people are going to buy it.

We will show-off this printer at this amazing price at the Sign Africa Expo Jo’burg in September if we decide to carry on and introduce FastCOLOUR Lite to the South African market.
