Alright, let’s cut a sign!
We’re going to use DBond or M Bond for this one. Honestly, the name doesn’t really matter because today we’re going to be a bit like James Bond and cut ourselves a two-tone sign.
We’re going to use some of the techniques we’ve looked at in our previous videos and see what we can create. So, let’s get started.
Once everything was set up, we loaded the material onto the AM.CNC machine and let it do its thing.
There’s not much to it once the machine is running. The EasyRoute CNC Router takes care of the cutting, and before long, we’re left with a finished two-tone sign.
And the best part? It didn’t take long at all.
A Sign We Made Ourselves
We’ve just finished cutting our own sales sign to help direct people towards the sales team.
The whole job took around two minutes.
Now, if we had bought a sign like this instead of making it ourselves, it could easily have cost somewhere in the region of R800 to R900.
But if you’ve got an AM.CNC machine, you can make it yourself.
And that’s where things get interesting.
Instead of spending R900 on having someone else make the sign, you could be the one making that R900.
That’s one of the great things about having a CNC machine. You’re not just buying a machine to make one specific product. You can use it for signs, lettering, displays, panels and plenty of other projects.
You can make things for your own business, or you can take on jobs for customers and turn the machine into another source of income.
In this case, we needed a sign, so we made one ourselves. And we did it in just a couple of minutes.
So, if you’re thinking about getting into CNC work, it’s worth looking at what you could actually make with the machine — and what those products could be worth.
You might find that the machine can pay for itself a lot quicker than you think.
At AM.CO.ZA, we sell machines for you, we fix machines for you, and we teach machines for you.
