If you walk into an office or a home, you will be sure to find a mouse pad, and we bet they will all look different! Some like mousepads that are plain, and others like fancy designs or photos of loved ones. While the main purpose of a mouse pad is to provide a surface to move your mouse smoothly so that you don’t damage your desk, they are often a great way to express one’s self. In today’s video, we are going to be showing you how to sublimation print on a mouse pad using a Large Format Printer with premium Sublimation Inks, Roller Heat Press, a C02 Laser Cutting Machine and a Sewing Machine. Watch the below video to see the process from start to finish:
The first step is to start off with the design and to make sure that you get the best colours, it is best to design in RGB for the best vibrant colours. See this step here: https://youtu.be/QYLNpxsqmKY

The next step is to use your Sublimation Printer, to print out the designs using premium Sublimation Inks.

Once the print is complete, a Roller Heat Press is used to heat press the print onto the mouse pad material.

Then a C02 Laser Cutting Machine is used to cut the mouse pad to size. See this step here: https://youtu.be/QYLNpxsqmKY

The final step is to use a sewing machine to finish off the edges. See this step here: https://youtu.be/QYLNpxsqmKY

As you can see, with the right machinery and consumables, which AM.CO.ZA sells, making your own mouse pad is possible!
